There are three ways that you can teach your dog with the Puppy Paws Training course.
You can attend the training club with your dog. The venue has excellent indoor training facilities where your puppy can learn off lead exercises in complete safety.
The training hall is situated in Cofton Hackett and provides ample parking space.
Courses for puppies and young dogs consist of six weekly sessions held on Tuesday evenings starting at 7.00pm.
You can start a course once your puppy is vaccinated but it is possible to reserve a place on the next available course as soon as you get your new puppy. Because the classes are very small the courses fill up quickly but you can book early to avoid disappointment. To book a handler place on a course you need to register before the start of the course.
Handler places are strictly limited to five people.
Click here for 2008 course dates.
Using the correct training equipment is very important. Suitable collars and leads are always available to purchase at the club. Check out SHOP for further information and COURSE DATES AND NEWS for details of this month's offers.
The cost of a handler place on a course is £48.00. Click here to book.
Registration is NOT available on the night.
(Please note: It is not possible to view classes free of charge unless you are attending with someone who has booked a handler place)
Only dogs of a sound temperament are accepted into group classes in a confined area. This rule is imposed for the safety of other handlers and their dogs.
Maybe you too far away to attend a course or are not in the position to commit to a weekly class.
Perhaps your dog is already quite well behaved and all you are looking for is advice on one or two particular unwanted behaviours.
The Puppy Paws Training Manual is the complete basic obedience course and is suitable for dogs of all ages. It is fully illustrated with over 150 colour photographs so you can easily see how to perform the training. It also provides a free online support forum where you can get extra help if needed.
You can purchase the complete manual or or instructions on individual exercises.

Maybe you would like to come and have a look at how the classes are run and learn about clicker training without handling your dog. If so you can book a course as a spectator.
You attend the classes for six weeks and receive all the same training information as handlers on the course.
The cost of a spectator place is £25.00. Click here to book:
